Day 1 Hanoi Arrival - Half-day city tour

Welcome to Hanoi - Vietnam’s capital. On your arrival, our tour guide & driver will pick you up and transfer you to the hotel in Hanoi old quarter. Take a rest then go for street foods for lunch. After lunch, you will visit the temple of literature, Ho Chi Minh mausoleum & one-pillar pagoda. Overnight in Hanoi

Day 2 Tam Coc Day tour

We pick you up at your hotel at 08:30 AM. The pleasant drive to Tam Coc takes two hours.

Along the way, stop where you wish to take photographs of local villages and the surrounding landscape.

On arrival in Tam Coc Town, board your private sampan boat. For ninety minutes your private oarswoman / man will take you down the Ngo Dong River. Pass through the three caves that made Vietnam famous in the French film 'Indochine', Hang Ca, Hang Giua and Hang Cuoi.

On the way visit Bich Dong Pagoda, set among pink lotuses, the temple offers spectacular views of the surrounding area.

Back to Tam Coc Town to enjoy a delicious Vietnamese lunch.

Following lunch drive to Hoa Lu to visit the temples dedicated to Emperor Dinh Tien Hoang of the Dinh Dynasty (968-80), and Emperor Le Dai Hanh of the Le Dynasty (980-1009). The ancient Hoa Lu Citadel (most of which has since been ruined) once covered an area of three square kilometres.

In the afternoon journey back to Hanoi. Arrive in Hanoi around 17:00 PM . Finish the trip at your hotel ! Overnight in Hanoi

Day 3 Hanoi - Halong Bay - Overnight on cruise

Enjoy breakfast at the hotel, before setting out on a 4 hour drive by cruise bus transfer to the UNESCO World Heritage Site: Halong Bay.

Spend 24 hours on a traditional Junk Cruise in the amazing bay: a natural wonderland composed of jutting limestone islands and sparkling turquoise waters. Arrive at the dock around noon and board your junk. Savor a gourmet lunch of fresh seafood onboard as we sail out into the mystical bay. In the afternoon, cruise around some of Halong’s many islands, including Dinh Huong and Ga Choi. Along the way visit one of the bay’s 3 largest caves (Thien Canh Son or Sung Sot). Stop at an island cove with a sheltered white-sand beach and take a dip in the warm waters of the Gulf of Tonkin (weather permitting). Pass the night on your junk, lulled to sleep by the gentle rocking of calm waters. Overnight on cruise

Day 4 Halong Bay - back to Hanoi

Awake early and participate in Tai Chi on the top deck or simply relax and enjoy the sunrise over the bay’s towering islands. Enjoy a morning cup of coffee or tea, before setting out to explore the nearby islands by rowboat. Return to the junk for brunch then take advantage of the sundeck and admire the amazing rock formations of Bai Tu Long Bay as you navigate back to Halong City, where your cruise bus driver will meet you at the dock and take you back to your hotel in Hanoi. Day 5 Hanoi - morning bus to Sapa

Day 6 Sapa tour
