Day 1 Saigon (Ho Chi Minh city) Arrival - Cu Chi Tunnels tour - Overnight in Saigon

Welcome to Saigon - The metropolis of Vietnam. Upon your arrival in the morning, our tour guide & driver will greet you at the airport. After a briefing of your Vietnam trip itinerary, your guide and driver will take you to visit Cu Chi Tunnels - network of underground tunnels begun in 1948 by the Viet Minh in their struggle against the French. These tunnels were expanded and used by the Viet Cong during the war between Vietnam and America. Americans called this the 'Iron Triangle' and was a stronghold of the Vietcong for almost thirty years. After the tour, go back to the city for checking in your hotel. The rest of the day is free at your leisure. Overnight in Saigon

Day 2 Saigon - Mekong Delta - Saigon - Fly to Danang - Overnight in Hoi An

Today, check-out your hotel & have breakfast. Depart from Ho Chi Minh city around 7:30 am, replacing the urban sprawl with endless rice paddy fields on this private transfer to the Mekong Delta.

We’re headed southwest to the river town of Cai Be for 2 hours drive. Stopping en-route at a Cao Dai Temple. CaoDaism is indigenous to South Vietnam and the colorful and unusual murals inside will truly mesmerise. Then we board our boat to journey through Cai Be’s famed floating market. Here, we will experience how life functions on the delta, as we view the intricacies of commerce--how merchants purchase produce from local farmers.

We stop at a local working shop to see locals making their local specialties like coconut candy, rice paper, pop rice and sample some of them with a shot of local rice wine. Now it’s time to try out local wooden sampans and pedal down narrow natural waterways. 

Get on land of an island to walk through fruit gardens before we taste some tropical seasonal fruits (such as longan, pineapple, watermelon, rambutan, jackfruit etc...) then go for lunch with delicious set menu.

Relaxing on a hammock before we ride a bicycle for 30 minutes to explore the village on a small country road. Re-board the wooden junk, sit back and relax to enjoy cruising along the canal for 30 minutes to Vinh Long local market. Then 3 hours drive back to the airport in Saigon to catch your domestic flight to Danang. Upon arrival, meet your guide & driver, then get the transfer to your resort in Hoi An. Overnight in Hoi An

Day 3 Hoi An walking tour - Overnight in Hoi An

Today, after having breakfast, meet your guide at your hotel and take a half-day walking tour through the narrow winding streets of the ancient quarter, visiting Chua Ong Pagoda, the Chinese Assembly Hall, the 200-year old Tam Ky ancestral house and the famous Japanese Bridge. The rest of the day is free at your leisure for enjoying the local coffee & shopping. Overnight in Hoi An

Day 4 Hoi An - Transfer back to Danang airport - Fly to Hanoi - Hanoi half-day city tour - Overnight in Hanoi

Today, after checking out & having breakfast, get the transfer back to Danang airport to catch the morning domestic flight to Hanoi. Upon arrival, meet your guide & driver, then transfer to the city for the tour. You will visit the most famous attractions of the city such as: Ho Chi Minh mausoleum & one pillar pagoda, Hilton prison, Hanoi train village. In the late afternoon, enjoying one hour cyclo ride around old quarter & water puppet show - a unique Vietnamese art form hailing from Southeast Asia’s wet-rice culture. Overnight in Hanoi

Day 5 Hanoi - Halong Bay - Overnight on cruise 

Enjoy breakfast at the hotel & check-out before setting out on a 2,5 hour drive to the UNESCO World Heritage Site: Halong Bay.

Spend 24 hours on a traditional Junk Cruise in the amazing bay: a natural wonderland composed of jutting limestone islands and sparkling turquoise waters. Arrive at the dock around noon and board your cruise . Savor a gourmet lunch of fresh seafood onboard as we sail out into the mystical bay. In the afternoon, cruise around some of Halong’s many islands, doing kayaking around the islands. Pass the night on your junk, lulled to sleep by the gentle rocking of calm waters. Day 6 Halong Bay - Hanoi - Departure 

Awake early and participate in Tai Chi on the top deck or simply relax and enjoy the sunrise over the bay’s towering islands. Enjoy a morning cup of coffee or tea, before setting out to explore the nearby islands by rowboat. Return to the junk for brunch then take advantage of the sundeck and admire the amazing rock formations of Halong Bay as you navigate back to Halong pier, where your driver will meet you at the dock and take you back to Hanoi. Then get the transfer back to the airport to catch your flight home. End of our services! See you on your next trip!
